About Superbuy
Superbuy was founded in 2012 and pioneered the reverse cross-border shopping model: a one-stop Chinese purchasing agency and international shipping platform for customers outside China. It buys on a buyer's behalf from domestic marketplaces such as Taobao and Tmall, receives the goods at its own warehouse, inspects them, and forwards them abroad. The platform also runs the Superbuy Spreadsheet, a product search tool backed by a large database of domestic listings that lets buyers search, filter and compare sources before ordering. Its core selling points are the lifetime waiver of basic purchasing fees, free in-house quality inspection on arrival, and 90 days of free storage. Buyers can consolidate multiple orders and request reinforced packaging to reduce international shipping costs. Superbuy publishes its shipping routes and pricing, serves more than 200 countries and regions, offers bilingual customer service, accepts multiple currencies, and covers the chain from procurement and inspection through warehousing to international delivery.- What works well
Long-established agent platform with stable operations and 14 years of continuous service
Lifetime waiver of basic purchasing agent fees for registered members
Competitive exchange rate on account top-ups
Unusually broad set of payment methods, including cards, Wise, bank transfer, Alipay, WeChat Pay and Bitcoin
Free inspection photos and 90 days of free storage with consolidated shipping
- What to check
Only the basic purchasing fee is free. Shipping, optional add-on services and extended storage are all charged
Storage runs 90 days free per item; extensions cost about $1.61 per item per month and items are treated as abandoned after 180 days
Add-on services such as shoe box removal, tag removal and power-on testing make an item non-returnable, so choose them carefully
Payment costs differ sharply by method, so the fee shown at checkout depends on the route you pick
Shipping is prepaid against estimated weight; the difference is refunded to your account balance rather than your card
Is Superbuy legit?
Superbuy has been operating since 2012 and is one of the earliest reverse cross-border shopping platforms in China. Third-party traffic data puts the site at well over 2.5 million monthly visits, placing it among the larger agents in the market. The company is long-established, financially stable and processes a very large volume of orders, which is the practical signal that matters when a buyer is deciding whether to trust a platform with money and a forwarding address. As with any agent, legitimacy of the service does not guarantee the quality of every marketplace seller, so use the free inspection photos before shipping.Where Superbuy is popular
According to third-party traffic data, Superbuy's largest audiences are in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and France. That spread is reflected in the payment options: alongside cards, Wise, bank transfer, Alipay, WeChat Pay and Bitcoin, Superbuy accepts a long list of regional methods such as iDEAL and Bancontact in Europe, PIX in Brazil, PayID in Australia, Kakao Pay in South Korea, GCash in the Philippines, PromptPay in Thailand, PayNow in Singapore, Touch 'n Go and GrabPay in Malaysia, DANA in Indonesia, Mercado Pago in Mexico, and BLIK and PayU in Poland.Payment methods and what they cost
Superbuy supports more funding routes than most agents, and the fee depends entirely on the method. As of September 2026, the platform lists Wise and bank transfers at a -3.13% rate adjustment and credit cards or Apple Pay at +3.94%, so the same top-up can cost noticeably more or less depending on the route chosen. Alipay and WeChat Pay top-ups are free but can take 1-60 minutes to credit. Regional wallets carry their own percentage plus fixed fee, for example Kakao Pay 2.7% + $0.30, GCash 2.7% + $0.30, PayID 2.9% + $0.30, Trustly 3% + $0.40, iDEAL 2% + EUR 0.30, PIX 2% + $0.05, DANA 2.5%, PayNow 1.5% and Mercado Pago 3.5%. Superbuy also publishes an exchange rate of 6.19, and top-ups are held as account credit that is drawn down as orders, shipping and add-on services are charged. Because the fee table changes, check the current rate at checkout rather than relying on any single snapshot.Warehouse add-on services and their fees
Basic purchasing is free for life, but everything beyond it is priced individually. Inspection photos are free (three per item, with three extra for Weidian), yet a second inspection costs $1.00. Small handling jobs are cheap: trimming loose threads $0.80, tag removal $0.48, detailed photography $0.48, splitting or discarding items $0.30, ironing $3.23. Richer options cost more: product video $3.23, live model try-on photos $4.84, power-on testing of 3C and electrical items $1.93, custom EPE foam reinforcement from $3.71, vacuum compression bags $2.74 and wooden crate reinforcement $40.38. Extended storage is about $1.61 per item per month after the free 90 days. Returns and exchanges are free only for the first one per month; from the second request onward they are charged on a sliding scale. Several services - shoe box removal, tag removal and power-on testing among them - make an item non-returnable, so decide before you commit. How to use Superbuy
- Step 1 — Find products with the Superbuy Spreadsheet
Start with the Superbuy Spreadsheet, a table-style search tool that lists Taobao, Tmall and similar listings with links, images, prices and store details. Filter by category and price to compare sources side by side, then copy the links for the items you want and import them into your Superbuy account to place the purchase order.
- Step 2 — Submit the order and pay
Superbuy buys the items from the seller on your behalf once payment clears. Top up your account with the method that suits you, keeping fees in mind: Wise and bank transfer show a -3.13% rate adjustment while credit card and Apple Pay add 3.94%, as of September 2026. Alipay, WeChat Pay, Bitcoin and many regional wallets are also supported, and loyalty points can be redeemed toward shipping or merchandise (100 points = 1 yuan).
- Step 3 — Inspection, storage and extras
When goods reach the warehouse, Superbuy provides three free inspection photos and 90 days of free storage. Use that window to keep ordering, then consolidate. Optional paid services include second inspection ($1.00), trim wires ($0.80), tag removal ($0.48), product video ($3.23), live model try-on ($4.84), ironing ($3.23) and power-on testing for electronics ($1.93). Removing shoe boxes, tags or testing electronics makes the item non-returnable, so choose carefully.
- Step 4 — Consolidate and ship out
Combine warehouse items into one parcel, compare shipping routes and submit. Freight is prepaid against estimated weight, and if the final cost is lower the difference is refunded to your Superbuy balance. Because cost follows volume and weight, adding light everyday items such as socks, underwear or phone cases to a parcel usually costs almost nothing extra.
Shopping-agent guide
The Superbuy Spreadsheet is a product search tool built to work alongside the Superbuy platform. It is aimed at international buyers who want to find and filter items from Chinese e-commerce sites quickly, without repeating manual searches on each marketplace. What it does:
- Product search and filtering. Enter a keyword to pull back a large set of domestic listings, then narrow results by category and price range.
- Product information summary. Listings are shown in a table with link, image, price and store information side by side, which makes comparison straightforward.
- One-click import to Superbuy. When you find something suitable, copy the product link and paste it into Superbuy to place a purchase order, so there is no gap between discovery and buying.
How to use it:
1. Open the Superbuy Spreadsheet tool and enter the keywords for what you want.
2. Use the filters to adjust price and category, then browse the returned list.
3. Compare the details and copy the links for your target items.
4. Paste those links into Superbuy to submit a purchasing order and use the full service chain: inspection, warehousing and consolidated shipping.
Once the order is placed, Superbuy buys from the seller, receives the parcel, and photographs the item in the warehouse. Storage is free for 90 days, long enough to add more orders and ship everything together. Add-on services such as box removal, tag removal, ironing, QC video and power-on testing for electronics are available for a fee, but several of them make an item non-returnable. Shipping is prepaid against estimated weight, so packing fewer, denser parcels and using the warehouse to combine orders is usually the cheapest route.
Does Superbuy charge a purchasing service fee?
No. Superbuy waives basic purchasing agent fees for registered members for life, which is its headline advantage. Shipping, optional warehouse add-ons and storage extensions are still charged separately, so budget for those rather than assuming the service is entirely free.
How long can Superbuy hold my items?
Storage is free for 90 days per item, and extensions cost roughly $1.61 per item per month. The platform will hold goods for up to 180 days; anything left longer is treated as abandoned, so keep track of the clock on cheap or forgotten items.
Can I return an item after using add-on services?
Not always. Once you request shoe box removal, tag removal or power-on testing for electronics, the item can no longer be returned. Return and exchange handling is also free only for the first request each month, with charges applying from the second onward.
